Newer golf gear is not the only way to find value on the course. Some of the highest savings during the current Amazon Big Deal Days event come from older models that have already been replaced by newer releases. These older clubs can still provide excellent performance for a much lower price.
The current sales event offers deep price cuts across the entire Callaway lineup. According to Golf Monthly, golfers can find significant discounts on everything from premium balls to complete club sets. The largest percentage drop in the current selection is 38% off Callaway ERC Soft golf balls, which now cost $24.68 instead of $39.99.
The deals cover a wide range of needs for different skill levels. For those just starting, the Callaway Strata 11-piece package set is down 28% to $359.97. The 16-piece version of the Strata set also sees a 25% reduction, bringing the price to $524.99.
Deep Savings on Premium Balls and Woods
High-end ball options are seeing notable price drops. The Callaway Chrome Tour golf ball is available at a 24% discount, priced at $37.97. For players looking for the Elyte line, there are several ways to save money right now.
The Elyte series includes several discounted options:
- Callaway Elyte Night Edition Driver: 20% off at $319.99
- Callaway Elyte Fairway Wood: 20% off at $215.99
- Callaway Elyte Hybrid: 20% off at $175.99
The sale also includes fairway woods from the Mavrik and Rogue ST Max lines. The Mavrik fairway woods are 11% cheaper at $159.42. The Rogue ST Max Fairway wood has a 15% discount, costing $169.56.
Opportunities for Women Golfers
The Amazon event provides specific opportunities for women to upgrade their equipment. The Callaway REVA ladies set is currently 25% off, with a price of $974.25. This is a significant drop from its original $1,299.99 price point.
Other women’s gear is also on sale. According to Golf Monthly, the Adidas Tour360 24 women’s golf shoe is 35% off, now $129.34. Other notable discounts for women include a 42% reduction on the Cobra DS Adapt MAX Ladies Golf Fairway and 51% off an Adidas Ultimate365 Classic Knit Ladies Golf Sweater at the PGA TOUR Superstore.
Risks of Cheap Online Equipment
While these Amazon deals offer genuine savings, buyers should remain careful when shopping on other online trading platforms. Counterfeit equipment has become much harder to identify over the last 25 years. Millions of fake clubs are now in circulation alongside fake clothing and accessories.
Be careful, fake clubs often have poor paintwork, bad weighting, or a substandard finish. To avoid scams, look closely at the photography of the item. A lack of clear shots showing the grips, the ferrules, or the sole plate is a red flag. It is also wise to compare images to the official manufacturer’s website to ensure the graphics and logos are correct.
Prices and deals vary, but with the seasons changing deals abound if you look around.
